Weather

If you are going somewhere and you want to see what the weather is going to be like in that area, you can go under layers (on the side bar) and click weather. The weater will then show up on your map for you to see.

As I said, by zooming in you are able to see all kinds of things from the area you flew to.

When you have flown to an area that you want to go to, you can then zoom in on the area to get a closer look. By zooming in on the area you are able to see buildings, homes etc. from that area.

Here is a picture from Google Earth showing how to get from Albany, New York to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All the little icons on the map are all places of interest. The purple line is your route from Albany to Philadelphia.

Google Earth is a great way to view different places of the world right from the comfort of your home. You can get directions, find businesses, view the 3D terrain/buildings, or just fly around the world and go sight seeing.

Getting Directions

There are so many things that you can do on Google Earth. For instance if you are traveling somewhere and you want directions to the place you are going, Google Earth will give you your directions. All you have to know is your starting point and your ending point. Google Earth will give you your directions and it will show you the roads you are taking on a map. If you zoom in you can see everything that you will be driving on and by. When finding directions you might also want to know where restaraunts, motels etc. are. If you want to know you can go under "layers" and check "places of interest" and on your map symbols for restaraunts, motels etc. will come up so you know where you can go if you have to stop.

Google Earth is a great way to view the world in a whole new perspective. There are so many things that can be done on Google Earth that will amaze all.
